Ms. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker, with more than 13 years experience working within the non-profit sector. She has dealt with diverse groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing with substance abuse issues and survivors of sexual assault and intimate relationship violence. She's worked with Erie patients in 2019 Presently, telehealth mental health services are offered. Ms. Rivas works with women pregnant and post-partum, in the Perinatal Behavioral team. She specializes in trauma informed treatment as well as EMDR services for adults. She also offers both individual and group counseling, medication assisted treatment and referrals for specialist care along with Women's support groups. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, aiding animals in need to find permanent home. She believes strongly in Best Friends "Save Them All" as the tagline of their organization, and has a passion to see Los Angeles be a no-kill community.
